Guo Changcheng, executive vice chairman of China Machine Tool Industry Association and chairman of the association's group standard working committee, delivered a speech at the meeting. In his speech, he said that in 2019, Yuheng Optics proposed the NCEC protocol group standard proposal, and the association believed that the positioning of the standard was in line with the needs of industry and market development, and it was also urgently needed by users. The group standard was officially established in September 2020, led by Yuheng Optics, and jointly drafted with 9 leading enterprises and upstream and downstream units in China's machine tool CNC system industry, such as Central China CNC, Guangzhou CNC and Kede CNC. He believes that in the process of drafting and formulating the standard, industry enterprises have participated widely and have a solid industry foundation. At the same time, he also pointed out that in the critical period of digital transformation of the industry, in addition to the interconnection of CNC machine tools, the key and core functional components of machine tools must also have digital communication functions, so it is important to establish unified norms and standards; The formulation of NCEC group standard has laid the foundation for the collaboration between the industrial chain, opened up a precedent for the domestic numerical control system and grating sensor interconnection communication protocol, and hopes to publicize and promote it as soon as possible, and be recognized and applied by machine tool enterprises, CNC system enterprises and user enterprises. On behalf of the China Machine Tool Industry Association, Executive Vice Chairman Guo Changcheng thanked the members of the drafting group for their hard work, and at the same time he called on the upstream and downstream of industry enterprises to coordinate and implement the standard and jointly contribute to the development of the machine tool industry!

Subsequently, leaders from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China Machine Tool Industry Association and other relevant leaders of the agreement review jointly pressed the starter button, symbolizing the official launch of the NCEC group standard release and publicity work.

After the launching ceremony, Yang Shang, assistant general manager of Changchun Yuheng Optical Co., Ltd., the main drafting unit of the standard, explained and publicized the NCEC group standard on behalf of the drafting group, and explained and publicized the NCEC group standard on "Why NCEC?" What is NCEC? How to do NCEC? To elaborate, industry experts and enterprise representatives had warm communication and exchanges with members of the standard drafting group, and Yang Shang, assistant to the general manager, answered questions from on-site experts and enterprise representatives on behalf of the standard drafting group.
